Mini golf is fun for all ages. If you love mini golf, the XCape at the Cape Wacky Putt Jokes ‘N’ Pranks course is worth checking out – especially if you have grandchildren in tow! XCape at the Cape is a fun park found in between Busselton and Dunsborough and a great spot to take your family if you’re holidaying with grandkids.
There are different combo packs available for purchase, depending on the height of the child/children and the number of attractions you’d like to enjoy. We were there just for golf. After we paid, we were given a wristband, scorecard, pencils, golf club and a ball each.
The course is shaded by peppermint trees, with a few benches along the way. My family and I teed off at the crazy-style golf course with windmills, spiders, dunnies, dinosaurs and more. It is good fun and brings out your inner child.
There are hurdles like putting between the moving blades of a windmill.
And even putting into a dunny – you have to put your hand down the toilet to retrieve the ball!
As well as the mini golf, there is something for everyone at Xscape at the Cape, especially children and the young at heart:
Train rides
The “Jungle Mountain” and “Tiki Mountain” play areas – covered for rainy days.
Mine Shaft Maze and lazer tag.
Jump ‘N’ Tramp trampolines and inflatables.
During warmer months, the water slides are also in operation.
At the Xcape cafe, there are lots of tasty snacks available, including burgers, salads and more. Keeping it local are the Yahava Coffee and Two Fat Cows ice cream.
There are a lot of places in the grounds to sit and relax, as well as lots of grassed areas to throw down a picnic rug. There’s undercover seating too.
The Xscape at the Cape Fun Park has plenty to keep grandkids busy for a few hours. Our grandson loved it.
