Yanchep Inn, Yanchep

If you’re looking for a pub to enjoy a pint in the outer northern suburbs, why not take a drive to the Yanchep Inn, found in beautiful Yanchep National Park? The hotel isn’t as old as its Tudor stylings, but is historic, nonetheless. Built in 1936, the hotel also offers up accommodation, for those who’d like to stay longer.

If you’ve spent a few hours exploring all the national park has to offer, Yanchep Inn is a good place to relax. Order a coldie, glass of vino or a pub lunch, from the menu full of all the pub food classics. We were exploring the wetlands trail around Lake McNess, so we grabbed a drink to enjoy in the beer garden which overlooks the lake.

Inside, the traditional hotel has a nostalgic feel. The pub’s dining room features lots of timber and a fireplace, giving it a cosy feel.

On the menu you’ll find simple pub meals, salads, burgers, pasta, steaks and more. There are plenty of vegetarian and gluten-free options, as well as a children’s menu.

Kids are also catered for with a bouncy castle in the beer garden.

Since the pub is found in a national park, there is an entrance fee per ca ($15 or $8 concession October 2023). Please note, dogs are not allowed in the national park. Once entry is paid at the gatehouse, you’re free to explore Yanchep National Park – from its hidden caves, to the koala boardwalk, many bush walks and more.

Open 7 days, for breakfast, lunch and dinner, Yanchep Inn is a great spot for a drink or two in Yanchep National Park.
