Car enthusiasts will love a weekend drive to The Ford Farm. The treasure trove for lovers of classic cars, focuses on Fords. This unique car museum is dedicated to preserving and showcasing the rich history of Ford vehicles, is one of the best collections in the country. It features many iconic models that have shaped the international, and Australian automotive industry.

They hold weekend open days every few months, and the entrance fee of $20 per person is cash only. All proceeds go directly to the Make a Wish Foundation, so another great reason to visit. For car club bookings of over 30 people they can arrange private open days. BBQ, Tea & Coffee facilities are available on site. And soft drinks can be purchased for a gold coin donation.

The Ford Farm’s private collection, which is housed in several garages, is impressive. From vintage Mustangs and Falcons to the timeless Model T, each car is meticulously maintained and beautifully displayed. Walking through the museum, you’re hit with a big dose of nostalgia for these automotive masterpieces. There’s a 1913 Speedster, a 1948 Ford Pilot and a 2007 American GT40, 1926 Model T… the list goes on!

The collection is about 95% Fords, with a couple of other beauties, like a vintage Merc on show.

The Ford Farm’s knowledgeable volunteers are passionate about Ford’s history and are always eager to share a yarn and insights about each vehicle. The museum hosts regular events and open days. Keep your eye on their website for future opening days and times.

The picturesque setting of Gidgegannup, in the Perth Hills, adds to the country charm of The Ford Farm. After exploring the museum, take some time to enjoy the scenic beauty of the surrounding area.
