Thereโs a new cafรฉ in Stoneville, just north of Mundaring, but you may already be familiar with it. First established in a quaint cottage opposite a Mount Helena park, White’s Mill and Grind has moved to a bigger venue. Not only has this cosy cafรฉ brought their original following with them, theyโre winning hearts all over the Perth Hills with their bagels and fresh baked goodies.
The new spot is much more spacious, inside and out, than the old cafรฉ – handy, as theyโre so busy! Head here for a bagel brunch, or a coffee and cake outing with friends. Youโll get a warm welcome at White’s Mill and Grind, plus an inviting atmosphere, making it the ideal place to unwind with a cup of your favourite brew over the morning paper.
The menu at White’s Mill and Grind is a bagel lover’s dream. They offer a range of savoury and sweet options. I was there for a quick coffee and cake, before a work meeting. I indulged in a big flat white in a mug and boy was it good! For those who prefer something other than coffee, their selection of teas, iced drinks and hot chocolates won’t disappoint.
I think that no coffee outing is complete without a sweet treat, and White’s Mill and Grind have a tempting selection of freshly baked cakes and slices on their counter to choose from. Iโm gluten intolerant, so I was stoked to see plenty of gluten free options too. Indulge in a slice of their homemade carrot cake adorned with frosting and walnuts (GF), a custard tart or chocolate brownies.
I was tempted by the berry and white chocolate bread (similar to banana bread), and it was SO tasty! Served thick-cut, buttered and warm, I was already planning to head back for another slice soon, before I even finished it.
Next to the cafรฉ, White’s Mill and Grind has a big covered alfresco area where you can enjoy a drink and bite to eat by the gumtrees.
Next time you’re in Stoneville or the Mundaring area, make sure to stop by White’s Mill and Grind. Whether you’re a local or passing through, this delicious cafe is well worth a visit.
