Sometimes the best escape is the one that’s close to home, and a stay at Pan Pacific Perth is a lovely reminder that you don’t need to leave the Perth metro area to enjoy a little luxury.
Set along Adelaide Terrace, this elegant five-star hotel has a location that works well for a relaxed Perth staycay. It’s close enough to enjoy the best of the CBD, the Swan River and Elizabeth Quay, yet feels far enough away from the bustle. For anyone craving a change of scene without the stress of major travel, it’s an easy and indulgent option. We recently stayed there, in a club suite.
From the moment you arrive, Pan Pacific feels polished and welcoming. The marble foyer, warm service and seamless check-in set the tone straight away.
The recently renovated (2025) rooms are spacious, beautifully styled and designed for comfort. Soft neutral tones, plush comfy bedding and sweeping river or city views give the whole space a restful feel.
One of the real highlights of my stay was the oversized ensuite, complete with a generous shower, large vanity, and separate dressing area.

Add in a fluffy robe, a quiet cup of tea and a little time to yourself, and it feels blissfully removed from everyday life – no temptation to do the housework here!
There’s spaces to work too, with handy USB plugs.
And of course all the amenities you’d expect, tea making, a coffee pod machine, plus a mini bar.
If you really want to elevate your stay, I’d highly recommend booking a Pacific Club room. Access to the Pacific Club Lounge adds another layer of calm and exclusivity to the experience.
The lounge is a peaceful retreat within the hotel, with complimentary drinks and refreshments, elegant surrounds and a much quieter, more intimate atmosphere than the main public spaces. It’s ideal for starting the morning slowly or unwinding later in the day with a drink and something light to eat.
Dining at Pan Pacific is elevated and diverse. Breakfast at Monty’s Restaurant is generous and beautifully done, UMA is an award-winning Peruvian diner, and Hill Street Bar has the casual feel of a pub. The hotel also offers other appealing options, like a cosy wine bar and room service, if you’d rather stay in and make the most of your surroundings.
For a relaxing city break with oodles of luxury, Pan Pacific Perth makes it wonderfully easy to treat yourself.
