Chocolate Drops Tearooms, Yanchep

If you’re looking for a quaint spot to enjoy a cuppa, head to Chocolate Drops, found in Yanchep National Park. The speciality chocolate shop and café has jars and jars of their own handmade chocolates to enjoy with a drink, or take home a treat.

Chocolate Drops Tearooms is a good place to recharge after walking around the park, with a hot drink or light lunch. Inside, the traditional tea room has an “oldie worldie” feel. The café is decorated with lace curtains, old biscuit tins and other retro touches.

On the menu you’ll find simple light meals like sandwiches, toasties, soup and filled jacket potatoes. There are vegetarian and gluten-free options. Cakes and muffins feature on the sweets menu. Plus, their Devonshire teas with scones look delicious.

Plus, it would be rude not to try a handmade chocolate!

We were exploring the wetlands trail around Lake McNess, so grabbed a takeaway coffee and iced chocolate.

Chocolate Drops Tearooms also doubles as a kiosk, so if you’re enjoying a stroll or picnic in Yanchep National Park, you can drop by the window to grab a takeaway or ice cream.

Since the café is found in a national park, there is an entrance fee per car. Once that’s paid, you’re free to explore all the wonders of Yanchep National Park – caves, the koala boardwalk, bush walks and more.
