Cranked Coffee, Leederville

Cranked Leederville

Cranked Coffee, on the southern tip of bustling Oxford Street, has been brewing coffee since 2007. A steady stream of office workers keeps the barista busy, while the kitchen cranks out popular dishes on it’s menu. This urban cafรฉ gem has weathered the test of time. It’s a place where business people, food and coffee enthusiasts, and ladies who brunch meet.

If you have mobility issues or aids, Cranked Coffee has plenty of space. There’s ample room for wheelchairs and prams. Inside you’ll find comfortable seating, and cushions. There are accessible toilets inside and accessible parking very close by.

Cranked Leederville

Cranked offers indoor and outdoor dining with an emphasis on the alfresco area. Itโ€™s lovely and shaded in the summer months and it gets busy around morning tea and lunchtimes. Itโ€™s a good place to relax and have a morning brew.

For coffee connoisseurs, you’ll be pleased to know that the coffee here is top-tier, satisfying even the most discerning of tastes. Cranked’s diverse menu and enticing cake cabinet will please every palate.

On my visit, I nibbled on a raw energy ball with my coffee. I can recommend their version of Huevos Rancheros, which is a big bowl of fried potatoes generously topped with avocado and egg.

During the chillier months, the “Apple Crumble Oats” makes for a soul-warming breakfast. Served with oat milk, stewed apples, and a sweet caramel sauce, finished off with a crunchy pistachio and almond crumbleโ€”it’s a real delight.

Our blogger Hazel enjoyed two poached eggs with two slices of sourdough, plus a side of bacon. The eggs were poached perfectly and the toasted sourdough and delicious bacon were a hit.
