Did you hear that there is a relatively new farmers’ market in the Perth Hills? Each and every Saturday morning, the Perth Hills town of Mundaring is bustling with the Mundaring Garden and Farmers Market. Found at the Sculpture Park, it’s a good spot to enjoy a wander amongst the gum trees, buy something new for your garden, stock up your fridge with fresh fruit and veg. There’s even organic produce.

There’s usually a coffee truck or two. It’s a lovely spot to enjoy a hot coffee and tasty breakfast.

The Mundaring Garden and Farmers Market have recently celebrated its 1st birthday and it keeps on growing and growing. Found through the trees, on the site of the old Mundaring Railway station, are a range of artisan stalls that change frequently. A little different to your average farmers market, this Perth hills market has a BIG focus on gardening – perfect if you have a green thumb. There are a large variety of plants – indoor, and outdoor, succulents as well as herbs and vegetable seedlings.

Adding to the gardening theme are garden products and ornaments too.

You’ll often find baked goods, coffee, and lots of food to eat and try.

There’s live music too. And why not treat yourself to something crafty!

We love the sense of community at the Mundaring Garden and Farmers Market. It’s also the perfect way to start a day in the hills. And once you’ve had a browse around the stalls, why not take a walk down the Railway Reserves Heritage Trail, which passes right past the market.

Or pop into the Mundaring Hotel, over the road, for a hearty pub lunch.

Mundaring Weir is also a relatively close drive.

Find the Mundaring Garden and Farmers Markets every Saturday from 8am until noon, in Mundaring Sculpture Park, 3060 Jacoby Street, Mundaring.
