Olive Hill Farm Campground, Margaret River

Want to visit Margaret River and not sure you want to spend your time in town in a busy caravan park? Come out to Olive Hill Farm, situated at 232 Brambley Rd Margaret River 12 kms from town. The camp is down 2 kms of good gravel road.The property is a 150 acre working farm producing eggs, beef, pork and lamb all sold at the local markets and can be purchased direct on site.The park is located in a pretty oasis of olive trees where the owners have put down compacted gravel in between the rows of trees, but were thoughtful enough to leave very generous spaces, it is no doubt one of the quietest camps we have stayed at, you must have a self contained caravan or camper, non-potable is available, but you would be advised to arrive with full tanks, and you can use silent petrol run generators. You may have to use your TV satellite dish, Telstra service is OK.The park is also kid and dog friendly.There are caretakers on site, so you should be able to set up without fuss, and there is lots of room for the big rigs. The Colonial Brewery is a couple of minutes away and a top place for twilight drinks and $10 pizzas on Friday night. The award winning Evoi Winery is only 5 minute drive, where the cellar door is open every day.You can also do a lovely walk thru the trees on the property down to the river, it’s very pretty.

There are only 10 sites available but shortly they will have 17 sites.

If you’re just visiting the area for day you can leave your van here for $5 fee.

This is a great and inexpensive place to stay while you discover all the riches the Margaret River has to offer.
