Many long-established vineyards and Swan Valley family businesses were set up by European immigrants, many staying close to their roots. So, it’s no surprise that Pasta in the Valley has proven to be a big hit.
Pasta in the Valley is a unique Italian restaurant found amongst the grapevines. The casual restaurant offers up all you’d expect, plus more – there are cooking lessons for the grandkids and even drive-through pasta – Mamma Mia!
As soon as you step inside, you’ll notice the impressive 30-meter-long industrial pasta-making machine. While it’s not in use, the pasta here is handmade on-site. And I can tell you it’s delicious!
The restaurant is open Tuesdays to Sundays, for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Their specialities are pasta, pizza and panino sandwiches. Plus, their sausages are from the award-winning Crimea butchers. Save room for the traditional Italian favourites – almond biscotti, Sicilian cannoli, tiramisu and panna cotta too.
The licensed spot is great for family groups, with indoor and outdoor alfresco dining for 200 people, and a shaded playground.
Bookings aren’t needed for the popular Mini Chef experience, which is great for the grandies! Held Tuesday to Sunday, kids can don a chef’s hat and make their own fresh pasta to take home.
For people visiting the Swan Valley, or living in the area, the take away cafe offers many sauces, pastas, coffees and gelato to go. You don’t even need to get out of your car! Pasta in the valley also offers group packages, including special deals for seniors.
