Tucked away on a quiet, tree lined side street at the base of a new apartment building, Praline Patisserie feels like a little slice of Paris right here in Mount Pleasant. As soon as you walk in, you’re greeted by the heavenly aroma of fresh baking and the soft sounds of jazzy French music playing in the background. Come for coffee and cake, or why not tuck into something more substantial, like a savoury crepe?

You can choose to sit inside and admire the display or head outdoors under the umbrellas for a bit of people-watching. This is especially handy if you have your dog with you.

The treats here are extra special. Think puff pastry delights crafted with premium French butter, like their melt-in-the-mouth pain au chocolats.

They also have an array of petit cakes, macarons, eclairs, and tarts that look almost too good to eat. If you’re feeling fancy, they even hold high teas, be sure to book!

Praline Patisserie is just a short walk (one block away) from the Canning River, which is perfect for a post-pastry wander to walk off those delicious calories.

Parking wise, there’s paid street parking around. Be sure to check signs. It may be easier to park by the river and take a short walk to the cafe.
