On Stirling Terrace, the main retail strip of quaint town Toodyay you’ll find Uniquely Toodyay, in the beautiful Old Post Office building. This wonderful art, crafts and gourmet food shop showcases the best of Toodyay and beyond.
We visited on a public holiday, after a trip to the award-winning Toodyay Bakery. We set off down the high street to burn off the delicious fresh bakes we’d polished off and Toodyay has an array of quirky and interesting shops to look around, Christmas 360, a lolly shop, Antiques Shop, the Coca-Cola Museum and of course, Uniquely Toodyay.
There are many handmade goodies and souvenirs for remembering your trip to Toodyay. Lots feature the beautiful blue fairy wren, a local in the area.
There is a variety of gourmet food on sale ranging from “Big Mistake Chili sauce”, to loose leaf tea, locally made honey, chocolate and much much more.
There are also many Uniquely Toodyay handmade arts and crafts, from knitting to sculptures, art works, prints and plenty more to treat yourself, or buy as a one-of-a-kind gift. I loved these tea pot cosys! You don’t often see these anymore.
There’s plenty of street parking out the front and a carpark over the road. Be sure to discover the goodies made by passionate local producers, artists and craftspeople at Uniquely Toodyay.
