On Marine Parade with a view of the ocean and the Indiana Tea House, Cott & Co is the pricier part of the Cottesloe Beach Hotelโs eating areas. The Verandah Bar is directly opposite and the Beach Club around the corner.
After an extensive renovation a few years ago, Cott & Co. has established itself as a good eating place for locals and tourists. Indoor dรฉcor has a casual upmarket feel and patrons never feel rushed in the laid-back atmosphere.

We have eaten there several times and have never been disappointed with the fresh seafood on offer. I have particularly enjoyed the barramundi and the Moreton Bay bugs however I made the wrong choice on this visit.
I picked fresh Fremantle sardines ($18) which were good and served with an artichoke salad that was also very good. But the sardines had not been filleted and were difficult to eat. When I mentioned this to our server, she told me that โthe majority of our customers enjoy whole sardinesโ. This customer did not! My friend ordered Beer battered Shark Bay whiting with triple cooked chips ($28). Both plates were immaculately presented.
ย
Although the menu is small it includes South Australian mussels ($26), Shark Bay crab with linguine ($31) and Rangers Valley Sirloin ($37). Many more items are available to be chosen from several blackboards above the kitchen and service area with the freshest seafood having pride of place. There is also an extensive wine list featuring wines from overseas as well as from WA and the Eastern States.
We will definitely be going back to Cott & Co but I will be ensuring I know how the meals are prepared!
Breakfast is served on Saturdays and Sundays from 8am until 11am.
Parking is plentiful, directly across the road, but will be very busy in summer.
