Epicurean Vs Atrium Buffet at Crown Perth

Epicurean, Crown Perth

Love a buffet restaurant in Perth? Crown Perth has not one but two! Epicurean Vs Atrium? Which one suits your dining needs best?

Epicurean at Crown Perth

On paper, many people would say that Epicurean is the best. Not only the best buffet restaurant at Crown, but in the whole of Perth. Epicurean is the restaurant that those staying at the luxe Crown Towers hotel eat at for breakfast. So if you are staying at Crown towers, this is the closest and most convenient restaurant to the lifts.

Epicurean, Crown Perth

The enormous Epicurean buffet is the best in the west. Being the signature restaurant at a five-star, luxury hotel, its offering is top-notch. The plush dining room is very comfortable and overlooks the hotel’s tropical swimming pools. There are many fine foods to indulge in, inspired by cuisine all around the world. If you are celebrating an extra special occasion with a group, Epicurean is a great option.

If you are a seafood lover, Epicurean will have to be your choice. The fresh seafood selection is brimming with crabs, whole prawns, oysters and smoked salmon.

When dining myself at Epicurean, I’ve chatted with the Chef who oversees each service. If you have a dietary intolerance/requirement, they were very helpful. While there’s no al la carte menu, the enormous buffet has three sections, each brimming with food. A cold food section (salads, sushi, cheeses, antipasto, seafood), a hot section (western and eastern hot dishes, stir-fries, dumplings, rice plus a carvery) and the impressive dessert section, complete with a chocolate fountain.

Sweet tooths won’t know what to eat first – cakes, slices, fresh fruit, sorbet, mousse, jelly, petit fours, chocolate truffles, ice cream and of course, Epicurean’s beautiful centre piece, the free-flowing chocolate fountain.

Atrium Buffet Crown Perth

Are you a big eater? You’ll be going back for seconds at the tasty Atrium Perth. The original buffet restaurant at Crown, is found in the immense lobby of Crown Metropol. Staying at the Metropol Hotel? The Atrium will most likely be your choice for breakfast.

The buffet offers all the favourites, there’s food stations from a variety of cuisines – a range of western dishes, a Sunday roast-style carvery, Asian dishes and Indian curries.  Everyone is well catered for, making this eatery great for groups. Atrium offers a quality dining experience in a contemporary setting, though is a cheaper alternative to Epicurean at Crown Towers.

Dining at Crown Perth – Epicurean or Atrium?

So when it comes down to Epicurean Vs Atrium, which Crown Perth buffet restaurant would you choose? For us, it’s basically a choice between a very good quality restaurant (Atrium), and a premium restaurant (Epicurean) at the Burswood entertainment complex. It all depends on your budget, and if you are staying at the Towers or Crown Metropol hotels. Whichever your choice, be sure to fill your plate and wear your elastic pants!
