La Delizia Latticini, located at the Park Centre in Vic Park is a fabulous little niche cheese shop.
Opening in January 2020 and run by Dom whoโs from a family of cheese makers in Naples, his wife Kirsty and a dedicated skilled team, source local produce to make some of the finest cheeses to be found here in WA.
If you see Burrata, mozzarella, stracciatella or stracchino on a menu itโs more than likely that itโll be from the La Delizia cheese lab.
The popularity of these products is down to using quality ingredients, not to mention considerable expertise, and they now supply over 300 stockists and restaurants across WA.
La Delizia has gone from strength to strength, so much so that to accommodate the high demand theyโve moved to larger premises nearby, the busy shop, however, is still at Park Centre.
The exciting news Iโd like to share with you is that just this week Acqua e Sale, the acclaimed southern Italian restaurant in North Perth has joined in a collaboration with La Delizia.
They now produce their top-quality handmade pasta on-site in Park Centre, which you can watch being crafted through the viewing window.
Another new venture here is that they serve amazing coffee, a host of filled rolls made with their own bread, and takeaway hot meals.
Thereโs a brekkie and lunch deal, and while youโre there, I can thoroughly recommend that you buy a cannolo for afternoon tea (if you can wait that long) along with a tiramisu for after dinner!
I canโt talk about La Delizia without a special mention of Leah who usually serves me.
Leah is an asset to the business not only for her extensive product knowledge and friendly personality, but also her skill in engaging with each and every customer.
I continue to enjoy watching the growing success of this business, and Iโd love you too to support them if you can.
Jane Florence was born and bred in the North West of England but has since moved around considerably.
She loves new cultures and languages and has lived in California, Copenhagen, where she met her Scottish husband, Spain, Norway, Scotland and Indonesia.
When living in Jakarta, Jane and her family enjoyed several holidays in Perth to visit friends, and thirteen years ago decided to move with the family permanently to this beautiful country.
Since coming to Perth, Jane has worked in retail but decided that life was too short and gave it up for more time to pursue other activities.
Swimming, reading, Zumba, dog walking, travel, cooking for her family, theatre and dining out are some of her passions and sheโs constantly on the lookout for new and interesting places to dine.
No plans to move again, but who knows!?
