RAC Busselton Holiday Park

The RAC has recently been acquiring resorts and caravan parks around Western Australia. One of these is the former Peppermint Park Caravan Park in Busselton. The holiday park is conveniently located between Busselton and Dunsborough and is a perfect place to base yourself for sightseeing around The Margaret River region.Large and well presented, it has a selection of motel style rooms, self contained cabins, ensuite sites and powered and unpowered caravan and camping sites. The camping sites are large with grass and shade cloth bases.The facilities at the park are great. There is a large inside camper kitchen as well as BBQ areas scattered around the park. For campers not booking an ensuite site there are plenty of showers and family bathrooms available and also laundry facilities. Disabled access bathrooms are also available.Families are very well catered for with a well equipped games room, mini golf, BMX track, electric bike and peddle cart hire and of course playgrounds and a jumping pillow to keep the kids occupied. For those who feel the need to stay in touch there is also free wi-fi.The pool area is an added bonus, with not one, but two pools – one of them heated and surrounded by sun loungers and shady gazebos.Although access to the beach is by crossing Caves Road, it is only 300 metres from the park – quite an easy stroll and once on the other side of the road there is a cycle way and footpath which runs alongside the beach.
