S&R Orchard Autumn Festival, Walliston

You may have visited the blossom or fruit picking festivals at this Perth Hills spot… good news – the annual S&R Orchard Autumn Festival is back! Take a stroll around the falling leaves of the fruit trees at S&R Orchard’s festival, which is held on weekends from 18th May until June 9th.

S&R Orchard has been transformed into an amazing autumn-themed spot which is perfect for a picnic and a few photos. Throughout the orchard you’ll find pretty props to pose for a fun photo – perfect if you want to update your picture frames. Pets are also welcome on leads, so they can be included on a family photo. Here’s just some of what you’ll find…

A beautiful giant wreath to sit by and take photos. It’s decorated with red and orange leaves and flowers, and is just stunning.

If you have grandchildren, there’s plenty for them to see and do too. Activities to enjoy with grandkids include an animal farm, tractor rides, bouncy castle and tea cup ride.

As for refreshments, there is a pop up coffee shop, ice-cream and food vans. Plenty of tables and chairs are found under the shady shelter. S&R Orchard says that it is wheelchair friendly, though the surfaces are gravel and grass. Toilets are onsite too. Entry is $12pp, $5 kids and under 3’s are free (no bookings are required).

Be sure to the S&R Orchard Autumn Festival and make a day of it in the Perth Hills. Kalamunda and Lesmurdie Falls are nearby, as well as the many Bickley Valley wineries, and the Core Cider House. The stone fruit orchard is a lovely place to visit, as part of a day out in the Perth Hills.

Find the S&R Orchard Autumn Festival at 36 Halleendale Rd, Walliston.
