The Calligraphers Guild of WA

The Calligraphers’ Guild of WA meets once a month February to November, on the fourth Saturday from 12:30pm to 4:30pm at the Mount Claremont Community Centre.They are a fabulous group of Calligraphers who get together to share ideas and showcase their current works.They welcome members from all levels and will hook you up with a teacher in your area. It is a delight to spend a few hours with these people and the highlight is looking through their extensive collection of Calligraphy Books and borrowing a book for a month.Every second month they have a guest presenter teaching new skills. Overseas Calligraphers from all countries have visited and taught from the Eastern States as well as the UK, USA etc..
They are not short on expertise and are willing to help anyone who is interested in getting started in this most absorbing and relaxing form of art.Their beautiful monthly digital magazine, Quillo, is packed full of useful information and showcases recent projects by members, as well as upcoming events.Membership is a reasonable $50.00 p.a.
