I happened to be in Mandurah recently, and I was in the need of an excellent coffee on the go. After a google, since I’m not so familiar with Mandurah, I discovered the marvellous Mataya Eatery. Just a block back from Mandurah’s bustling foreshore, this busy café is popular for good reason. Their cabinet was filled with sweet and savory goodies, plus the brunch dishes coming out from the kitchen looked really tasty. I was kicking myself that I didn’t set of earlier, and make time for a bite to eat.

The trendy dining room of soft pinks and neutrals was rally inviting, so I made a mental note to come back for breakfast. It looks very tasty on their socials…

As I waited for my coffee order, I noticed there was a lovely little artisan corner, packed with gift-y products like books, coffee making accessories, skincare and more.

There’s a dog-friendly outdoor dining area too.

My flat white (a Will and Co roast) was spot on, and a touch hotter than usual. That was great, so I didn’t drink it too fast, as I strolled along the foreshore!

I’ll be back, next time in in Mandurah.
