Little Banksia Review
The Little Banksia is a quaint cafe in a charming old home on a quiet street in Kensington. It has period features with a lovely airy feel, plenty of seating inside and out and friendly staff.
We ordered our food and drinks inside and our freshly squeezed juices arrived quickly and were delicious and cool on this warm day.
My friend chose the cauliflower cumin fritters with cashew labneh, beetroot hummus and all sorts of yummy bits and bobs.
I ordered the bacon, avocado, rocket and tomato on ciabatta with aioli and I was more than happy with my choice.
As we’d not finished chatting we decided to indulge and share a cake, as many of you may know, if it’s only half a cake the calories don’t count!
Along with this we enjoyed a very nice flat white, in fact, it was so good I didn’t even realise that it was a skinny version of my usual full fat one!
A snooze in the garden in the sun a little while later with my book topped off a lovely afternoon.
