If you find yourself wandering down Blackwood Avenue in Augusta, make sure you stop in at The Ragged Robin. The cafe and vintage shop is very sweet and packed with oodles of goodies for your home, or yourself.

This quirky little shop is a treasure trove for anyone who loves vintage and retro finds. There are beautiful collections of crockery and glassware, jewelry records and more. It’s a wonderful mix of old and new homewares. You could easily spend half an hour just browsing through all the unique bits and pieces they have on display.

Tucked away in the back corner is a sweet little café that’s perfect for a mid-morning break.
They serve up a great cup of coffee and have a lovely selection of freshly baked cakes, with plenty of gluten-free options available too.

I grabbed a takeaway flat white for my wander around the main street.

Grab a table with a view over the Blackwood River, or a comfy sofa that’s dotted around the store.

The Ragged Robin is charming, and a must stop on the main street. It’s also located right next door to the ‘Lions of Leeuwin Bookstore’, which is packed with secondhand reads. Whether you’re looking for a nostalgic gift, a keepsake from your southwest trip or just a quiet spot for a cuppa, The Ragged Robin is well worth a visit.
