North of the River
Subiaco Hotel
The Subiaco hotel is one of Perthโs most iconic drinking spots. On the corner of Hay Street and Rokeby Road, it was built in 1897. The Stables Bar, Perth CBD
While The Stables is a relatively new venue, itโs full of character. The Stables were actually horse stables over 100 years ago. Found down a cobbled alleyway. South of the River
Rose and Crown, Guildford
WAโs oldest pub is a lovely spot for hearty food by the fireplace, enjoying the dappled sunshine in the big beer garden or tucking into a meal in one of their heritage dining rooms. The Windsor Hotel, South Perth

Guildford Hotel, Guildford
The Guildford Hotel has been sitting proudly on James Street with its commanding Belvedere tower for many years. It was gutted by fire in 2008, sitting derelict and decaying until 2016, when the doors finally reopened. Mount Helena Tavern

Parkerville Tavern
The Parky was first known as โThe Railway Hotelโ and was re-named The Parkerville Tavern in the 1970s. The Last Drop, Bedfordale
This Tudor style pub, found at the Elizabethan Village, is not as old as is seems. The village was built in the 1970s with replicas of buildings from Stratford upon Avon in England, including William Shakespeareโs birthplace and Anne Hathawayโs cottage. Jarrahdale Tavern

Found in the hills south of Byford, the Jarrahdale Tavern was established in 1886, for the Jarrah Mill workers. The pub is a popular weekend spot, with a beer garden with outdoor fire pit and wood fired pizza oven. Read the Seniorocity review here.

Mundaring Weir Hotel
The Mundaring Weir Hotel, right by the goldfields pipeline, is perfect for stopping for a drink if youโre sightseeing in the area. If youโre visiting on a Sunday, youโll be able to smell the delicious aromas from their famous lamb spit roast, which is served in the afternoon. Mundaring Hotel
The Mundaring Hotel is found in the old heart of the Perth Hills town – Jacoby Street. This was the main street in Mundaring at the time of its construction in the late 1800s.
