A trip to Yallingup would not be complete without visiting the historic and iconic Caves House Hotel.Caves House has something for everyone. You can call in for just a drink or sit on the deck and order a bar meal. If you feel like something a little more upmarket then you can dine in one of the the dining rooms or even spoil yourselves and enjoy high tea in the Ngilgi Room or on the terrace overlooking the beautiful gardens. You can also extend your stay, Caves House has beautifully appointed bedrooms available for an overnight stay or even a luxurious holiday. We called in on a Friday evening and the place was pumping. The beer garden tables were full and there was free live music on for the evening. That particular night it was a blues singer from Bridgetown – an excellent performer by the way! There was also a jazz duet singing in the restaurant. We found ourselves a seat and ordered a drink from the bar, whilst deciding whether we were hungry enough for dinner. We were peckish so decided on ordering a wood fired pizza from the outdoor pizza shack. The pizzas are offered every evening except Monday and are served as a takeaway that you can eat at your table or take home with you. They are excellent value, we paid $18 for a Margherita which was big enough for two people to share.Caves House has beautiful extensive gardens that you are free to wander through at your leisure, and on select evenings during the summer season there are movies on the lawn. There is plenty of parking available, with pram and wheelchair access to the bar and restaurants.Caves House Hotel
