Gidgegannup Bakery and Café

The bustling bakery bakes its goodies daily. You can see the bakers busily working away in the kitchen through a window.

You can tell by the taste their food made is with quality ingredients. The beef used for their popular handmade pies are free of antibiotics and growth hormones. The chicken used is free-range. The fresh veggies for the salads and quiches are sourced from local producers where possible.

A scrumptious selection of both Aussie and European style cakes and slices are baked from scratch at the bakery. As well as all the fresh bakes, on offer is great barista-made coffee, and some very fresh-looking sandwiches, baguettes, toasties and salad rolls.

If you’re not eating on the run, you’ll be pleased to hear that there is both indoor and outdoor seating at the bakery, as well as very clean loos. We sat at a picnic table under the trees.

And the verdict on the pies? We enjoyed a very chunky peppered steak pie – it is absolutely delicious!
