Hillarys Boat Harbour has been a popular place to spend the day in Perth for the past few decades. The seaside spot is compact and flat, making it a great place for a wander around the attractions, shops, manicured parklands and beautiful beach – and the parking is FREE. Hillarys is also a dining mecca, where you can munch on everything from sweet snacks – gelato and the Honeycake, to easy takeaways and places to enjoy a casual bite with friends, or an upmarket Feed upstairs at the Breakwater. See our big guide to Hillarys Boat Harbour here.

At the themed Old Wild West you can sit by the saloon-style bar, like something straight out of a western or even dine in a mine train!
