Pan Pacific hotel has carved out a reputation as one of the most reliable hotels in the city and with good reason. The former Sheraton Hotel (rebranded in 2010) has very efficient staff, large clean rooms and a decent breakfast โ what more could one want from a staycation weekend? Amenities include a well-equipped gym and a pool (open sunrise to sunset). Rooms are a good size (some with river views), have comfortable beds and come with all the usual amenities. The large bathrooms have a separate shower, roomy bath and a hairdryer.
The Pan Pacific offers a range of dining venues. Uma, the hotelโs signature restaurant backed by Melbourne chef, Alejandro Saravia. DoubleTree by Hilton, Perth Waterfront
Found at Barrack Street, the DoubleTree by Hilton Perth Waterfront is well worth booking a staycation at. Located next to Perthโs famous Bell Tower, the DoubleTree offers full 360ยฐ Swan River and city views. 18 floors are made up of 229-rooms (with either city or river views), the Reel Kitchen restaurant, pool area and 18 Knots rooftop bar โ perfect for a cocktail.
There are nine room configurations to choose from, including King or Twin Deluxe Panoramic River View or City View rooms. If you are staying as a family, two adjoining standard rooms can be booked, or the Deluxe rooms can accommodate a rollaway bed. Standard rooms feature a shower in the bathroom, whereas the deluxe rooms also contain a very inviting bath. An outdoor infinity pool enjoys views across the Swan River and there are plenty of sun lounges to laze on with a good book. There is also a well-equipped gym, which is open 24-hours a day. QT Hotel Perth
The QT hotel is situated on the corner of Barrack and Murray Streets, it is an ideal location for visitors or for locals alike. Billing itself as a boutique hotel with designer rooms, the QT offers free wi-fi, complementary in-room movies and a 24-hour gym. The foyer is large with very contemporary retro furniture and bold colours. The beautiful rooms are a good size, with a very comfortable bed, an easy chair and a small sofa. The dark stone bathroom is large with two sinks, a deep bath and a shower.

The Westin Perth
Part of the Marriott International Group, The Westin is still relatively new, first opening its doors in 2018. Found at Hibernian Place, close to St Maryโs Cathedral, the hotel in Perth has 368 guestrooms, plus high tea in The Haven Lounge in the lobby area, an in-house Bodhi J spa/wellness retreat. The hotel has a 24-hour fitness centre and a heated swimming pool. The Westinโs signature restaurant, Garum offers breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week.
A deluxe king room is spacious with several seating options including a sofa, two chairs (and a table) and a long bench.ย The bathroom area was large with a separate toilet and a walk-in rain shower, no bath.ย Tea and coffee facilities, a fridge, iron and ironing board, hair dryer and safe were provided together with fluffy robes and towels and an extremely comfortable bed. Crown Towers is certainly a world-class hotel. It’s excellent facilities include that incredible lagoon pool, a spa, crystal club, and all the top restaurants of Crown Perth on your doorstep! The Doubletree by Hilton Hotel in Northbridge is a good place to stay if you like being based in the lively night-life area of the city. The Doubletree Hotelโs clean and stylish rooms offer wi-fi, minibar, laptop safe, USB port by bed, iron and coffee/tea making facilities. As well as a king size bed, thereโs a comfy armchair, and a flat screen TV.
After unpacking, explore the area, or head to the rooftop bar. The outside rooftop overlooks the hotelโs swimming pool and city skyline. The gym is found on this level too.
