North of Perth

Chapters Bistro, Currambine

Found next to the Grand Cinema, this is perfect for a Sunday at the flics, followed by a delicious dinner. Be sure to book a table at Chapters for their hugely popular Sunday Roasts – almost legendary in the northern suburbs. The offering changes up weekly. They are often served up with duck fat roast potatoes, honey carrots, seasonal greens, Yorkshire puds and lashings of “proper” gravy. There may even be a traditional sweet to follow, like an apple crumble with custard!

The Duke, Carramar

The tradition of the Sunday roast of course has roots firmly in the UK. So what better place to enjoy a right good roast, than a British style pub? While I wouldn’t go so far as to call it a theme pub, the heart of the Duke is British. The Duke has that intimate cosy feel of a traditional British pub. See more on this venue in the Seniorocity review.

Kingsley Tavern

Each and every Sunday, the Kingsley Tavern’s chefs chefs dishing up delicious roast dinners that are served in a giant Yorkshire pudding. You can’t beat that! There’s limited availability,  so be sure to book.

Blasta Brewing Co, Burswood

With its close proximity to Optus Stadium and the Crown Resort, Blasta is a popular place with locals on Sundays. A former warehouse, Blasta is not just a brewery it also boasts a coffee shop, a beer hall, and an alfresco area. And they plate up a tasty Sunday roast too, that changes each week. Sunday Roasts in Perth – South & East

The Windsor, South Perth

This South Perth institution has several different areas to dine and enjoy a drink. We like The Windsor’s classy Charthouse restaurant with table service and white tablecloths. Here you can cosy up to a fires whilst tucking into a delicious Sunday roast!  See more on this venue in the Seniorocity review.

Rose and Crown Hotel, Guildford

The historic Rose and Crown is one of our favourite pubs in Perth. As well as the Rose and Crown being such a beautiful venue, the food is consistently good. Dating back to 1841, the hotel is steeped in history. Enjoy a roast in the big beer garden or enjoy the more formal 1841 restaurant with its open fireplaces. Bookings are a must, especially in winter. See more on this venue in the Seniorocity review.

Parkerville Tavern

We love a drive out to the Parkerville Tavern, in the Perth Hills. Winter brings the smell of rain in the gum trees, roaring wood fires and a  hearty Sunday feed. The Parky Roast is available all day on Sundays, while it lasts. See more on this venue in the Seniorocity review.

Mundaring Hotel

Historic pub, The Mundaring Hotel, is 120 years old. Found in the heart of Mundaring, there’s many different areas to sit and enjoy a Sunday lunch. Relax in the large beer garden, or dine in the lovely restaurant and enclosed conservatory/patio where in cooler months there is a roaring log fire. See more on this venue in the Seniorocity review.

Crown Perth

You can enjoy a roast every day of the week at one of Crown Perth’s buffet restaurants. The Atrium and Epicurean buffet restaurant both have dedicated carvery sections with roast meats, gravies and all the trimmings. And the best bit? You can eat as much as you like! More in the Seniorocity review.
